Google Chrome Canary for iOS X

With an unexpected move that was reported earlier today by MG Siegler at TechCrunch, Google decided to (finally) release Chrome Canary for Mac. The new, highly unstable and cutting-edge version of Chrome is available for download here. What made Chrome Canary the proverbial unicorn among Mac users is the fact that this version of the browser is considered a pre-developer build — a step above Chromium, but an anticipation of things to come in the Google Chrome Dev, Beta and Stable channels. Available for several months on Windows, Canary is, put simply, the Chrome version to use if you want to see the latest developments, and try early features that will be implemented on other Chrome channels at a later date. Canary is not meant for daily, stable usage — instead, it’s best to run it alongside a beta or stable Chrome installation.

The Google team writes on the official Chromium blog:

"The Mac version of Google Chrome Canary follows the same philosophy: it automatically updates more frequently than the Dev channel, and does not undergo any manual testing before each release. Because we expect it to be unstable and, at times, unusable, you can run it concurrently with a Dev, Beta, or Stable version of Google Chrome. Your Canary data remains separate, but if you set up Sync in each version of Chrome that you use, you can automatically continue using the same set of bookmarks, extensions, themes, and more."

The current stable version of Chrome is labelled 11; meanwhile, the Dev and Beta channels are already using version 12, whilst Canary has already made the jump to version 13 — the one that’s going to come out as stable in at least a couple of months from now. But if you want to test the latest features and experience the bleeding edge, Canary is awaiting here. With a shiny new yellow icon.

DropTunes for a Drop Music

DropTunes is sort of a combination of those two applications. DropTunes allows the user a player for their Dropbox-synced tunes offering Flash or HTML5 with streaming and continual playback. All you need to do is log onto DropBox through DropTunes, and pick out the proper folder with the music stash. There is also syncing the iTunes library with Dropbox for sharing tunes with fellow Dropbox users.
DropTunes it supports Flash-free and HTML5 playback, but it doesn’t seem to support iOS or Android, however, you might be able to go through the browsers on Apple or Android devices. DropTunes is currently a Free service that can be acquired here.

Simple Physics to iOS

SimplePhysics is the sequel to popular physics game BridgeBasher, challenging you to make structures that will withstand the laws of gravity and nature--while remaining under budget.This game is SimplePhysics. Seriously, that is the title, and the object isn’t to smash structures, but to build solid ones. You need to build tree houses that can hold the weight of four 50-pound children, which are represented by these boxes appropriately marked “Fragile”.
Part of the game involves putting the tree house through a Certification test, and you can use a “finger” test to touch and drag support trusses in order to isolate weak points. Overall, SimplePhysics makes for a great successor to BridgeBasher, with several useful interface additions and structural challenges to keep the game interesting. But be aware that this game will definitely challenge you and you may end up doing levels several times before you succeed.

iOS 4.3.1 Now Available To Download

Apple has released a new update for iOS which brings it from iOS 4.3 to 4.3.1. The .1 indicates it’s just a minor update with no specific changes to the actual OS.The bugs repaired include a fix for the 4th generation iPod touch which had some occasional glitches with graphics. Also, activation on some networks was becoming a problem with 4.3. This update addresses that problem. When the Digital AV adapter was used on some TV’s, flickering could be seen. 4.3.1 resolves this. Finally, authentication problems with enterprise servers has now been fixed.
You can get the iOS 4.3.1 download in the usual manor by plugging in your iOS device in to your Mac or PC and then loading up iTunes and hitting the check for updates button. Installation is quite quick and takes about 10 or so minutes for the iPhone and iPad.

FitOrbit Apps For iOS

FitOrbit similar to My Fitness Pal and the recent Endomondo, also seen at CTIA Spring 2011.
but FitOrbit different from  other  app, and that makes FitOrbit different is that the user is connected to an actual living breathing physical trainer. This is the big boast, and FitOrbit claims that they have “hundreds of personal trainers, diet and weight loss experts, and other fitness professionals that train celebrities, and people just like you, all over the world”.
FitOrbit uses similar software to match.com in order to match the user to a real fitness professional, the user can review a trainer for free. Think of it as getting your own Jillian Michaels, and you are the Biggest Loser.
Now everywhere you go, you have access to a real person who is an expert in the specific diet and exercises your body needs and will really appreciate!
